ForSAFE

ForSAFE is a three component model that was developed within the SUFOR program. The three components included in the model are nitrogen, carbon cycling and soil chemistry. Strong feedback links between the different components make the model very useful for dynamic modelling. It can be used for predicting nitrogen and carbon cycling as well as forest growth under different climate change and pollution scenarios. Base cation and phosphorous cycling are included in the model.
