Introduction
I am Professor of Chemical Engineering (1994),
heading the Biogeochemistry and Systems Analysis Group since 1983.
I am a native Norwegian (1954), enjoying the creativity of the Swedish
academic environment since 1980.

Univerity of Oslo 1974.
-Bachelor degree (B. Sc.) in Chemical Engineering 1979. Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology (ETH-Z), Zürich, Switzerland.
-Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Engineering from Lund Institute
of Technology 1980.
-Technical doctorate (PhD) in Chemical Engineering 1985, LTH, Lund,
Sweden.
